I continue to have a problem with Nice Black Harley gloves turning brown after a few months. They start off black as can be than I guess its the sun UV that turns them brown. Anyone know of a good protectant to stop this from happening. Really pissing me off, because HD gloves are not cheap.
How about getting them back to black again? A Dye or something else that might work?
Thanks Guys. Found $1 packets of Doc Baileys boot black on ebay for 1 time use. Will try a couple and see how it works.
Actually decided on a bottle for $16 and free shipping
Black leather fades over time...no matter where it is from. You can use sprays etc to protect it, but I don't believe there are any UV protectants in them. I like the faded black look myself...
Let us know how that works for you. Good to know...
I guess I'm different, I like the look of worn leather ... My leather jacket sleeves are faded but the rest of the jacket is like new due to the vest I wear ... Something bout faded/worn leather gives the article character ...
