They made great boots, but you might want to check out some othe motorcycle boots. I have a pair that have velcro straps that hold 2 pieces together at ankle and calf - like the motocross boots, but are much more comfortable. These are much easier to get on and off, also made by Chippewa.

I have a pair of those I bought in 01. They have been heeled twice and resoled once. Chippewa makes great boots. I wore them 3 or 4 times a week for about 5 years, they are pretty much done now. I also have a pair of the Rally boots referenced above..,actually this is the second pair, very good riding boots.

Chippewa still markets some high quality US made boots...but they market some imported stuff now as well...so be sure to check if thats important to you.
