I kinda like something out of the ordinary.. not so like everyone else....really want it for some warmth on a cool ride or to go under my jacket, but dont want a collar like a hunting vest ?

There's a lot of high quality fleece garmets out there for just that purpose. Go to www.aerostich.com and have a look. These folks make real gear for all weather conditions.

If you want leather, check out Fox Creek Leather for good quality and fast service. A fair number of style options as well.

I saw an incredible kangaroo hide vest earlier this year. Spendy, but the workmanship was superb. A nice honey brown color too.

If I would have had the cash, I'd have bought it.

look at the BMW (or Areostich) website for a warm electric vest, you can't beat them when it gets cold. Now walking around a bar with an electric vest will make you look like an idiot.....

Especially when someone steps on the cord.

Not to mention having to mount a cord reel on the bike.

Take a look at lil joe's... style is kinda like a cutoff jean jacket, 3 collar options (none, 1 inch straight, shirt collar) and you can get in leather or black denim. Great lining, warm... and look good. But they ain't cheap.
