German-style helmets

Does anyone know, or could recommend a german style helmet that has some protection and is not that bulky???

I ride with a guy from time to time that wears a pilot's helmet..(Vietnam era I think)
Not the same, but still looks cool.

I like the Sergeant Hans Schultz non-DOT model myself...no dorky carbon fiber available in this model!
