Do All Helmets let the wind push them up?

I cant stand it. My 3/4. 1/2 and full all let the wind get under and push the helmet up and my head back. The only way I can stop it is if I strangle myself by securing it soooo tightly? Am I missing something here?

Sounds like you're wearing the wrong size helmet - too big. Check out this video from Jay's garage:

Yup, it's too big. Mine never do that, and I have the same three types of helmets.

I third that motion. Mine only do that after much use and the insides are compressed from that use.

I have a 2xl helmet on a 3xl head and still had the problem until I removed the visor.

claydbal will become famous soon enough
no problem here, with all three types at well over 120 mph. just dont turn your head with a full face helmet----twists the neck.

Some heads are oval and some are round. Try on different size helmets from different manufacturers.

+1 on the video from Jays garage.

Loose the visor if you're wearing a helmet with one.

I have gone ton up with both my 1/2 and 3/4 buckets.

I also have ground out the insides so they fit correctly.

All of the above! Mabe a windshield, or tighten the strap!

NO THEY DON'T either your head is to small or the helmet is to big...

I wear a Shoei RX-11 and it doesn't let the wind in or bobble my head...

Best method for determining if a helmet is the correct size is, when on your head, you shoud lbe able to bite the insides of your cheeks. If you can't, its too big.

Add wings to the sides. You can make them out of paper machet and balsa wood, but if you dont want to look rediculous make them out of fiberglass and tie streamers to them. I notice a 4 foot wingspan works best. However if you are going to wear the optional propeller, you can get away with a 3.5 foot wingspan. Lots of luck.
