H-D electric gloves

I got a pair of H-D electric gloves for Christmas - the battery type. While I really like them, I'm not too sure about the battery life. The gloves are rated at 7.2 volts vs the plug in type which run off the bike's 12v system. Are there any adapters out there that allow the battery gloves to plug into regular heated gear?

No, they are not interchangeable. Your gloves will onlu work on battery. Current Gerbings gloves are hybrid - they work on a battery AND bike. H-D have new heated gloves coming out that are hybrid as well - if you haven't worn the gloves yet - don't. Return them and get the new model.

I use the Gerbing gloves and controller. They are far superior to the battery powered type although there is more to hookup; plug for the controller, harness through your jacket and plugs for the gloves, vest pant liners, etc. If you do a lot of cold weather riding they are a savior and lead to comfortable extended riding in cold weather.

I have used mine for several years and the gloves are a bit ratty now, but still operate fine.
