Recommendations for shop to shorten FXRG Jacket Sleeves?

I'm looking for recommendations for a shop to shorten the sleeves on an H-D FXRG jacket.

Thanks, Keith

Is it leather or nylon? If it's leather it should go to a tailor shop that specializes in leather work. If it's nylon, bring it to a reputable tailor in your town. Probably won't be cheap - especially if it has zippers on the sleeves near the cuff...

I'd estimate it to run you roughly $30-40 or so.........

Hey Krav, do you still have their contact info from when you bought your stuff?

Thanks Kustom, I'll check that out.

Thanks, Keith

I needed a new zipper in my leather jacket. I found a shoe repair shop that did a great job using a high quality zipper. They tend to have the right equipment for the job.

I assume you are aware that motorcycle jacket sleeves are supposed to run long so that they don't ride up when you're actually riding a motorcycle with your arms stretched out on the handlebars?

If you're built with shorter arms, that's tough- because with the FXRG jackets, they have a zipper on each sleeve. Seems like it would be hard to trim the sleeves and still have the zippers work.

I'd try a good taylor, like the ones at Nordstrom. Maybe you could buy a shirt or something, and then ask the gal in the suit department if they could help you with the alteration of your jacket.

I have a new one right here, sleeves were shortened a bit. Make me an offer, or trade me yours.
Tom.

Nope, unless Fox Creek Leathers moved. Look at the tag. My 100 anniversary vest was MADE IN CHINA. It should be right under 'An American Legend' tag.
