To go Fringe or not on a Jacket?
So is Fringe okay or some want a be throw back to Easy Rider and the 60's.
Found great jacket with Retro (possibly Vintage) with Fringe and to top it all off it is brown.
Anyone wearing Fringe these days?

I don't recall seeing any fringe around here...on guys' jackets. A number of women wear fringed jackets/vests.
However....your $$$, your choice.

Unless you are riding bitch I would not wear a fringed jacket, but maybe that is just me.
Now if you wear it with Chaps and no pants you are really making a statement

I'm told fringe can be painful and/or annoying when it snaps around in the wind.

I had a fringe jacket. I loved the look of it when I bought it but the first time I rode with it on was also the last. The fringes catch in the wind, fly up and whip you in the face. I ended up giving the jacket away, but then regretted it when I later heard that you can cut the fringes to a shorter length to still get the look but avoid the whipping.

cowboys wore fringe on their jackets so that they could have a piece of leather when they wanted to tie something. I carry zip ties, they have replaced fringe.

Don't care much for fringe myself, but if you like it, that's what counts.

not a good look
I don't care for it myself on a bike or a person it looks a bit dated and silly. I also think boots with lots of useless buckles look silly too

If you like fringe, then get fringe. I've seen some real nice quality fringe jackets and I've seen some real cheap looking ones. The cheap ones look cheap!!

It is not something that I would wear. It's your choice and money. Just don't get upset if some folks look at you funny.

that sums it up in the word "outfit". if your a man wearing an outfit then fringes, if no outfit then no fringes.
