To go Fringe or not on a Jacket?

If you absolutely want fringe then maybe. If you're not sure then don't.

that particular look, was adapted by free spirits in the mid-to-late 60s. As I remember fringed western style jackets,it was more or less a hippie phenomena. It is also a period of time you can buy a used police bike to chop up, for less than $800. Both of which unfortunately for one, and fortunately for the other have disappeared. Fringed jackets, never really did have a good shelf life either. The fringe itself would not last long, neither would the jacket for that matter. About the only person I ever saw wearing one was Dennis Hopper, and in those days he was so spaced out you rarely knew what was going on anyway.

Thanks for the replies, thoughts, opinions and all. I think I will stay more with the traditional leather jacket and forgo any Fringe.
