Here is my entry for ride of the month.

Year: 1974

Model: Harley Shovelhead

Eng. size: 74" 1200cc

Trans: ratchet top 4-speed, kick only, jockey shift

Pipes: 2 into 1

Seat: cobra

Wheels: spoke spool front, spoke rear

Accessories: basically....none

Story:

Wanted a chopper since I was 13. Well that was 37 years ago. Started collecting the bits and pieces a while back of the parts I remembered in the old Easyriders I used to collect. I had visions of Harley, D&D, A.E.E. and all the cool stores of their time.

After a loooong time looking found the old D&D narrow twisted front leg springer and that got the party started. Built mostly from the back of my pickup under my condo in Key West with the chickens and cats to keep me company.

After waiting all those years and after a long year of building, everything done by yours truly, except for the welding, I finally have my 70's style chopper.
