Its a 470 lbs, S&S 113 Bobber I just finished this fall.
Tittled as 2008 Special Construction
Paucho Ridgid 35 degrees of rake 1 1/8 inch tube
S&S 113 Natural with Super G
Tranny is SS Case with Jims ProCut gears and Baker shift barrel and forks. BDL Hydro Clutch
GMA Left side brake with hand made outboard support
13" Floating PM Deisel Roter and 6 piston PM Caliper
Joker Machine Hand Controls
CCE triple Trees, and headwinds headlight
Roland Sands/VH Tracker pipe
Seat is a Vtwin part and seat shocks are made by ChopperShox
21" 120 X 70 up front and and a 150 wide 16" for the rear.
What it doesnt have:
Turnsignals, Horn, beltguard, guages, and oh yeah, FENDERS!!
I wanted something very light that could just lite up the rear tire at will, and I got that! I originally planned on putting on a rear fender, but after seeing how great the rear section looked without one, I decieded against it. It can get you a little dirty riding if it rains, but "&hit happens".
Let me know your thoughts.

It is a 1340 Evo-powered custom now, with a lot of modifications, and an interesting story.
Originally purchased new by a CHP officer, the bike was stripped of all police gear, and received new bodywork, suspension, brakes, lots of chrome, and some attention to the motor. The mods made it look more like an FXLR Low Rider Custom than an FXRP. It wasn't ridden much, as it only racked up 16,000 miles in 20 years.
The bike sat unused for years until I bought it this past fall for a song. It was barely running, needed a ton of maintenance, but I saw the potential. Tuned it up, did some overdue maintenance, replaced a ton of parts, and gave it some much-needed TLC. It had an obnoxious black, green, and gold custom paint job from the 1980's that needed to go, and not having the money for a big-time pro job, I took matters into my own hands. With advice & encouragement from forum members (Pat @ Kustom Flames), I prepped & painted the bike myself, with a total budget of $75.
Who says you have to spend big money to have an eye-turning Big Twin?
Spec's:
1988 FXRP Custom
- FXLR tank
- Fat Bob rear fender w/LED cateye
- Low-profile strut rear turnsigs
- 1988 1340cc Evolution
- Flowed heads
- Hi-perf cam
- CV carb w/Thunderslide
- Teardrop high-flow air cleaner
- Hooker 2-into-1 tuned exhaust
- 5-speed transmission w/back-cut gears
- Arlen Ness side covers
- Dual front disc & single rear JayBrakes
- JayBrake forward controls
- Drag Specialties seat
- National Cycles light bar
- Black powdercoated wheels
- Lowered front & rear suspension
- Koni 231 shocks
- Black textured finish by Duplicolor
Thank you for consideration,

Ok I had to merge two rides for my contenders for Feb. 2009 ROTM. I need 2 more contenders, maybe one if Booggerbe can come up with his Bike and story.

My ROTM submission
I don't think I have a shot in hell against the bobber, but what the hell...
Year: 2007
Model: Softail Standard
Eng size: 96"
Transmission: 6 speed
Pipes: Still aint figured that out...look like Venoms
Seat: Badlander
Wheels: See story
Accessories: 140/17 Front wheel (fatboy hub on an Akront rim with thick spokes)
Street Slammer bars
2" lowering kit
homemade side-plate mount
custom cupholder
badlander seat
drag pipes
And the story: Bought new, and I started changing things as soon as I pulled into the shed
Being broke has it's advantages, as I've made up most of the mods myself, and what I couldn't make, I bartered for (except for a few parts). The new front fender I traded for some computer work, the bars were a trade for some car work. The pipes were a trade for the stock seat(!)
I made the side mount for the plate, and modded up a bottleholder for long trips. I installed the lowering kit, front end (including fabbing up new spacers, as the 21" uses different measurements), and my own little custom A/C cover
It's not always easy, or fun, but I have learned so much about the mechanics, I feel more and more confident that I can tackle harder projects and repairs....I wouldn't have it any other way

02 Home Grown Custom Softail
02 Custom Softail
95" motor
Full Recluse package
Limited edition paint
Custom gauges
Home built 200 tire kit
And a lot of chrome......
Started out as a bone / box stock FXST with nothing more than a limited edition tin set, pretty in its own right, but I'm never satisfied. It's been a labor of love and wouldn't trade a minute spent on it for anything else......(well maybe there's at least one thing....)
