Bike was purchased off of ebay and was truly stuck in the 80's. I had the bike completely reworked by larry's Custom Cycles in Albuquerque NM while I was deployed to Iraq.
I also now have a wideglide front end going on now to eliminate the narrowglide look.

And the story: This 2006 Street Bob was my first Harley. I sold my old bike, went almost 9 months with no bike...worked 2 jobs just so I could come up with the down payment for it. I was in love from the first time I saw it on the HD web site. Finally managed to scrape up half the cost of the bike for a down payment!
So on Feb. 14, 2006 (yes Valentines day) I rode her home for the very first time. I was like Chester cheetah (partially from the cold freezing my lips to my teeth as I rode around), cause I never thought Id be able to afford a Harley, let alone a brand new one!

4780miles later I was riding her to the local Dealer for my lunch break and a company that dose concrete work was cleaning their truck off and allowing the slop to run across the roadway. It was coned off one lane each direction and a car was approaching me and a 18 wheeler was behind me. By the time I realized what was in my path; wasn't just water, it was too late.
By the time I got off the freeway the concrete had dried and just about every surface of that flat paint and black powder coat was speckled and or covered with concrete. Heartbroken and pissed off like no other...
Fast forward to march 07 where I had battled the companies insurance company and managed to get them to settle out of court for a large sum (almost the cost of a new bike) and allowed me to keep my bike. I proceeded to turn the concrete misfortune into an opportunity to customize, replace and repair all the concrete damage caused by that company on my love of all loves. By early summer I had all the needed repairs done and some custom parts added. HD did the 1550 upgrade as it was still under warranty, and I had them add some of the new parts since they had to re-install the parts anyway. What they didn't do I took great pride in doing myself. Its a horribly over powered bar hopper now complete with a wide glide front end and 21" front wheel. I managed to save so much money doing things myself that I bought my *second* Harley with the left over money and have the best of power AND comfort with my newer Electra-cop-glide from a Police department. In a nut shell my bike gave back to me all the blood sweat and tears that I put into earning, rebuilding and keeping her mine!

And the story: I rode bikes as a kid, in the dirt. I stopped playing in the dirt and I grew older and stopped riding. About 5 years ago I bought my 1st Harley at age 46, completing a boys dream of having a vette (z06) and harley under one garage.
Then I had some bones break for apparently no reason and they could never figure out why. Unfortunately one of the bones was attached to my spine. I had and have difficulty walking and need to use a cane to get around any distance. Fortunately sitting is the one thing that helps relieve the pain, so I kept my 89 custom painted yellow with blue stripes Sporty. Well, from much pressure from family members worried that I would go over some pot hole and end up jacked up due to my back, I sold my bike.

That was 3 years ago.

8 months ago I had a heart attack, out of the blue to a pretty fit guy, other then a broken back.

7 months ago I bought "Pan-nee Drop'r", my 93 heritage. She's almost where I want her, old school loud nasty fast hog. In the next to last picture you can see the skull jocky that goes along with the suicide clutch with custom chrome mounting. I like to change up between foot clutch and hand clutch. I just found a pair of late 50's FL hard bags that happen to be white. I'll be picking them up tomorrow and mounting them in time for Street Vibrations. Look for me there.
