Thumper-n-Me
Our 105th Anniversary Edition we bought in 07 for our 40th anniversary present to each other. I was 65, it was our 40th anniversary 40+65+105; it just seemed like the right thing to do! I added pullback risers and an Excelsior Henderson horn (not shown in photo) with "40th Anniversary Ivy and Gary" in place of the Excelsior-Henderson badge. Sweet scoot and a huge leap over my last Harley - an 88 FLHS full custom bagger! Not as fast as my EH but who cares?

Awesome bike, z37, but could you post a bigger picture. That one's too small to post as a contender. Post a 640 x 480 pic.

Ive owned this scoot 17 years. Ive painted it myself 5 different colors now ending up in candy red. Ground up restoration with many custom made parts (got a Smithey), 96 inch, Sputhe 5 speed, Rivera Pro Clutch, and so on. Shovels got class!

Softail Springer
Year: 2005
Model: FXSTSI
Eng size: 88
Pipes: V&H Big Radius
Seat: Lepera Bare Bones Gel
Wheels: Night Train (rear)
Accessories: Power Commander PC III with Accelerator Pump upload + rev X tend, Screamin Eagle Air Clear exposed (the breather hole covers are chrome plugs from a electric box …fits perfect), 6 inch risers, 12 inch Apes, Brass knuckles hand controls & foot pegs, A. Ness Billet center console (Flame), Spikes on axle and front suspension top of Springer nut CNC custom made. Chromed out to the max!
My Story: My two wheel passion started when I was 8, it was the summer of 69, six months before the Manson murders and the famed Rolling Stones Altamont concert with the Hells Angels as security.
I was vacationing with my parents in Cali. My uncle just picked us up at LAX. That was the exact monument in time when I got hooked on motorcycling.
We were on the freeway heading home to my uncles, when what seemed like hundreds of bikers cursed by my uncles green wood paneled ford station wagon.
My uncle yelled out "HELLs Angels…look straight ahead, don’t upset them"!
But it was too late; I was hanging out the window, waving the peace sign in the breeze… I was mesmerized by the speed, sound of the Harleys and the girls on the back. I felt in some way, connected, a sense of recognition, as they blew by me, returning the peace sign.
Memory’s a funny thing, I can’t remember what I had for lunch yesterday, nor can most of us define the exact moment in time when their passion for riding started. But for me..a wide eyed 8 year old, that event set me off on a life of two wheeled passion that god willing, will continue though out the rest of my days.

Ok guys part of the rules is giving specs. I will NOT accept those who do not post their specs. Just a warning for those who wondered why.
