Prayer for a Family

The founding member of the CMA chapter in Amarillo Texas Ron Sherman went to be with our Lord Sunday. Ron came from California to Texas in the 70s and was told a CMA chapter would never work in Amarillo. We have about 100 members now and growing. To give you an idea of Ron's dedication and faith. Ron's wife passed away at the chartering meeting when the Chapter was Chartered. The Devil will throw anything at you to sway you when you are doing the work of the Lord. Ron never swayed or even cosidered it. He will be dearly missed and remembered forever. Please say a prayer for his family.

There's incredible dedication to God's work everywhere you look. Some more visible than others, and this just one example of a truly dedicated man who won't run and hide when that ugly downstairs dude shows up to throw us off track. He ran a well run race to the finish -- for the sake of others, not his own. God bless those who remain.

Ron, thank you for your love of and service in the Lord. You have touched many more lives than you can imagine...but you are probably meeting some of those folks now that you are in Heaven.

To Ron's family, thank you for sharing him with us. You are in our prayers. Our condolences for your loss....but our praise for his gathering in Heaven.
