UPDATE to Prayer Needed...NOW
A young CMA couple at the Florida State Rally was hit by a drunk driver on Saturday (I believe it was Saturday). SERIOUS injuries, loss of limbs for both, young children at home.
A young CMA couple that are there doing the patch sewing for the rally were out for a motorcycle ride last night and were hit by a drunk driver. I don't know their last names but their first are Don and Melody. Melody has lost a leg and an arm and her husband, Don has lost both legs and an arm and are both in critical condition in a hospital in Jacksonville FL. This couple has 3 young children. PLEASE pass this prayer request on to your churches and to anyone else you can.
Also, one of our CMA brothers in this area was T-boned by a truck on Friday night. Praise the Lord...he only has a broken hip, shin, and finger. Was wearing his helmet because of the cold. I'm sure the nurses are getting quite a testimony from him right now. His name is Ron Davis.
Extra....at our CMA meeting last night, we had a footwashing service. WOW!!! I was "urged" for a couple of months by the Spirit to conduct it, as chaplain, but kept finding a reason "not to do it". BUT, the Spirit prevailed, and we experienced the most awesome chapter meeting EVER in the past two years. I'm finally learning to be quiet and listen to the Spirit lead me... kinda tough to do, you know...type A and all that.....

update on Ron
First of all.....THANKS for the prayers....nothing else to say but THANKS
Just found out that Ron is going to surgery at 8:00 a.m. monday. this will be about 8 hours long. he had more x-rays today and they found 8 cracked ribs. his ankle is not broken.
