CMA Changing of the Colors

CMA Changing of the Colors - Hatfield, Arkansas - October 19-22 at Iron Mountain...just south of Mena, Arkansas.

Several different groups leaving from Southern Illinois for the ride. Some are leaving the weekend before...some leaving during the week of the Changing.

Our small group will be leaving from the Benton, Illinois area on Wednesday, October 19 in the morning...between 8a-9a....planning to stop overnight before getting to Iron Mountain.

Any other CMAers coming through Southern Illinois along I-57 are welcome to ride with us...or you can spend the night at our place on your way to Iron Mountain.

We've got room for campers, tents, and plenty of room for sleeping bags. Our house is open to you. We're only 10 miles off I-57 at exit 71 ... near Rend Lake...inbetween Mt. Vernon and Marion.

Send me a PM if you need to stay for a night while traveling. We're about 500 miles from Iron Mountain.

Well, the plans for attending Changing of the Colors have just changed. Between financial concerns, personal concerns, and professional concerns, all of our small group have to cancel this year's trip. We do have one room at the Limetree Inn in Mena available for anyone going down. Send me a PM as soon as possible if you're interested. My place is still open for any travelers going through Southern Illinois on the way down to Hatfield. Please post an update to the forum after you've attended this year's event. I want to hear about it.
