Although I heard the Obama-phone lady won't vote for him again.
I would, I'm looking forward to more freebies after I payoff my Obamacare obligation.

I remember Republicans saying the same thing about repealing the 22nd amendment when Reagan was President.

I don't get it. I thought you guys said we'd never survive a second term with Obama and the world would come to an end.

we're on a downhill slide with no brakes. road is getting slippery and slippery as we go. unfortunately, the majority of the people either don't care and like the way things are going. just something to remember though, when college students were interviewed before the election and asked were they going to vote for Obama or Romney, 87% of them didn't know who they were but were going to vote for the existing president cause he had done such a great job. still trying to figure that one out. they were shown pictures of Obama and Romney and asked who they supported for pres. imagine all that. no wonder our country is in a mess.

The guy who wrote this legislation is the same guy who has been trying to pass this since the late 90s--- including during a Republican administration. It almost never leaves the committee and in the incredibly unlikely chance it made it to a vote and was approved, the chances of the states ratifying it sits steadily at zero.
Here's some info from Snopes (other sources claim similar facts but I'm too lazy to provide all of them)

Yep, with all the problems that really face this country it never ceases to amaze me that so much time and energy can be wasted on this kind of claptrap. It's no wonder our government is so dysfunctional. If half of the energy that is wasted by each side on demonizing the other side were to be applied to developing actual solutions the results could be historic.
But, don't let fact, reality and progress get in the way of a good drum beating, fear campaign..............on either side.

I think this does not only apply to government.
