Those cities also have the highest prices for egg sandwiches. Therefore, it must be that high crime is the cause of expensive eggs... or is it that expensive eggs cause crime?

The higher rate of violence is gang vs gang violence for the most part. If you have gangs in your area you have violence. If you have a large gang population you are going to have the crime that goes with it. If you have a large poor population you are going to have a higher crime rate in most cases. Their is a connection.
Gun control is stupid. Anybody can easily get a gun if they want want without following the law.

During the Columbine High School massacre there was an armed police officer on duty at the school. He got in a brief gun battle and backed the eff off, never to be seen or heard of again until the battle was over. What a scumbag. Not everyone is cut out to be a police officer. Read that link below and count how many people died after he walked off the battlefield. Cops sat outside ducking behind their squad cars while kids were getting murdered inside. I'm sure if anybody from this forum was armed and present at the time they would have rushed inside and split a couple of heads with bullets.

Of course there is. Unfortunately, a lot of gun nuts credit their possession of guns as the reason for relatively low crime instead of their rural, flyover country setting.

I'm all for gang on gang violence as long as innocents don't get in the way, which unfortunately happens way too often. I say round them all up, put them in a big arena and let them settle their shite once and for all. After the dust settles, we can round up the survivors and send them back to someplace like NYC which just wouldn't be NYC without them.

"Fly over country" defined
Fly-over country. 1. A derogatory term used by urban, moonbat, liberal elitists, to describe US territory that lies in-between, when flying from one dirty, smelly, polluted, rat infested, overpopulated, crime ridden sh!t-hole of a city to the next.

Hey Tony, being compared to an urban moonbat, could this be insulting to rats?

Rats are intelligent, resilient, self sufficient, creatures that can live just about anywhere and adapt. There is no comparison.

So what I think you're saying is that those ignorant, drunken, inbred gun toting, union hating idiots manage to not kill one another unlike those vastly intellectually superior city dwellers?

Ya bones, that kinda logic is gonna swing some fence sitters into the gun control camp.

Unfortunately, a lot of limp libs believe that another law will stop LAW BREAKERS from getting a gun that they buy illegally already
How do you explain gun violence in Chicago or anywhere else with strict gun laws ? ??
Merry Christmas.

I keep hearing about 'gun control laws'. What I've not heard is who enforces? Who pays for enforcement? Where will the 'offenders' be sent?
Will this work better than prohibition of alcohol? Marijuana laws? Traffic laws? Tax laws?
How large of a majority of citizens must be participating in 'criminal activities' before we stop making everything illegal?
BTW. I hope everyone had a merry Christmas.
