Hey, not all is lost. I got a Social Security raise of 1.7%!!

Lessee - gas has doubled, food has doubled, unemployment is projected to stay at 8% for two more years, tax hikes next year, and now the dollar is worth even less.....oh well.

No need to sweat this small stuff.

I think more importantly, if you're going to buy on credit, do it now before the rates go up. Devaluing is relative, if you can buy at 0% you can offset your losses.

you telling me that all the money that I've saved over the last 55 years isn't worth what I thought it would be, you telling me that I ain't a wealthy person and just a regular joe the plumber. why did I work all those years in the first place. hell, I could have just lived off the government like the 47%. guess I wasn't as smart as I thought I was, work, save, and live well after you retire. now you tell me that I can't live as well as I want to cause the government done screwed up again. how about some goood news for a change.

That triumph would be a good choice, Fred. I've thought about one of those myself, but think I would go with the smaller putt-putt Bonneville, not the America, since I already have a "big" bike.
