As an American, you have the right to advocate for Sharia law all you want. I think you will find it conflicts with the Constitution, but that doesn't mean you can't advocate for it.
Similarly, if, as an American, you want to advocate for Judeo-Christian values...as opposed to those espoused in the Constitution...
...well...ok...that's probably a bad example.
