Apologies to the Forum
I would to extend my apologies to the moderators and to any member that may have been offended by a link I posted that showed pornographic behavior among homosexual men, it was my intention to show the disgusting behavior that goes on in San Fransisco among homosexual men in public, and denied by some on this forum, I did not scrolled down the page as I should have, and missed the truly disgusting porno pictures that followed, it was the first page that popped on a Goggle search and in my intent to proved a point I did not fully researched the page, I was aware that there was some public nakedness in the page but I missed the core of the page that as it turned out showed explicit sexual activities among men in a public setting.
Again my sincere apologies to the members and moderators.
Tequila

I don't think the mods request apologies. He is just being polite.

It's nice of you to apologize.
Why would you DIRECT people to look at things that you find disgusting to begin with?

It was a response the official homosexual defender of this forum, and in reference to the activities in San Fran.

Hey, sorry to be hijacking your thread but I can't PM you for some reason. Did this happen in my thread about the ordinance proposal? I assume you refer to MP as the defender.

Yeah, I forced Tequila to go searching for that site and to post it. I made him do it. Don't blame him, blame me for what Tequila finds and posts.

I wasn't blaming you (or him) nor do I think he was blaming anyone. The guy was stand up enough to apologize for his actions and I respect that. I did not see any of the referenced material nor am I interested in it.
My mission here is to determine why people feel the need to be so passionate about their beliefs that they can't recognize the fact that others may differ. This passion (on both sides) is what is destroying our country, not the government as so many claim.

How is the passion for traditional family values destroying our country?

No highjack here is all good GMan, not sure about the thread, would have to look it up, the defender said we where all spreading venom in regards to public nudity, and people that read this post would get the wrong idea about SF, I goggled a homosexual activities in SF and this page came up, I posted it to point out that it wasn't venom it was true, but the rest of the page had men having sex in public with other men,and I didn't bother to scroll down, for the reasons you mention is disgusting, hey I take responsibility, I know an apology was not necessary, but I really didn't want to offend anyone and it was the wrong thing to link.

First of all, you are not exactly repeating my words correctly.
but
with people of different values, beliefs, races, etc. all living together here, any passion that doesn't even allow discussion or consideration of another's views is detrimental.
Not all families have the same traditions. I got divorced from my first wife when my kids were pretty young. That is non-traditional, but I don't think anyone who knows me would say that there was any loss of family values.
Just because something is not according to your tradition, it is not necessarily bad or less valuable.

It is the extreme singularity of a view that contributes to the destruction of this country.
This country was founded on tolerance, of which neither the ultra conservatives or the liberals are willling to demonstrate.
From the Merriam-Webster dictionary:
Tolerance (to-er-ance): noun 1. Capacity to endure pain or hardship: endurance, fortitude, stamina 2a. sympathy or indulgence for beliefs or practices differing from or conflicting with one's own 2b. the act of allowing something
Please note that tolerance does not mean acceptance. It does not mean changing my viewpoint to meet yours. It does not mean I won't offend you. It doesn't mean I'm wrong. It also doesn't mean you're right. It means we put up with each other.

Amen!!!!!!
There are some more important issues right now that we need to come together on.. ECONOMY... Class warfare. taxes. Here is one and let me preface this with I am ok with the produced Birth cert.. If 3-12th grade boys have to produce a birth cert before being allowed to play football, why does the an Individual who aspires to be President of the US? Why do we vett peewee football players harder than presidential candidates? Another, why does any individual state have more power to elect the president than any other? The Electoral College system is broken, it marginalizes rural America. Anyway, I hope ya'll get my point. These are the things we have to work on in the government together, not against each other.
