I have said previously what I thought about the OP's post. Go back and read my replies if you don't remember.

Well when your people push democracy down our throats that might be important. But until that time we don't elect Presidents by majority vote..

Even Newt Gingrich said last night on Stephen Colbert that the Republican party has to learn from the last election that its extreme positions were not shared by the electorate. Now I may not be quoting him exactly but that was the essence. So while I find much of what is said by the radical right to be repugnant, it does help the people to vote for a center/left moderate like Obama.
And many Democrats are hoping the Republicans do not learn from this election and nominate Paul Ryan or someone with similar ideas next time. (How about Rick Santorum)?

I've known many teachers in my time. There are career teachers in my family and among my extended network of friends. None of them are earning an excessive amount of money. Most of those who I know would earn more money working for a large corporation. I don't begrudge them what they are earning or their pensions.
The main problem with children not learning goes back to the individual families and what a poor job of raising children a lot of those families are doing. If you want to improve educational scores, then figure out a way to help the families to do a better job of supervising the education of the children in the family. And what I just said about helping families is a massively complex task. It is not a one or two thing solution. Nothing helps a kid to learn more than a stable home life and competent parents who take their job responsibly.
And California spends less per student than almost any other state. It's right near the bottom now. Mississippi used to be the lowest. California has been getting into that range in spending per child.

OK Michael, I have generally been on your side in a number of discussions in this forum, BUT;
I just did read all of your posts and I see nothing of any substance in any of them. I respectfully disagree with your "enough said" statement. You haven't said anything.
I am also curious to know which of the 10 points you disagree with. You can call it whining or venting or sarcsam all you want, but just as if the situation were reversed, I think it does deserve at least some bit of reasonable dispute.
Is "I know you are but what am I?" really all you've got? I expect better than that from you.

I'm impressed that you took all that time to collect my quotes for your post. I stand by my posts. Thanks for collecting them for others to read.

Ya know Michael, I think you and Obama do have something in common.
Obama was quoted in Renegade: The Making of a President, By Richard Wolffe, 2009. "You know, I actually believe my own bullshit"
I think you do too but we're not buying it any more.

Will someone describe in detail just what eggzactly will happen to and in our country when, in a relatively short time span from now, the people who have real (productive) jobs will no longer have enough income to where their taxes will support all the unemployed, infirm, minimum wage majority? It' already happening now but it's going to get worse. This scenario is far more actual than man causing global warming. Forget about the "rich" supporting us, there will not be a middle class left. We can't have an economy based on service sector jobs, we need maunfacturing and that seems to have gone away. And you kids get off my lawn.

Nothing to justify really. President Obama was voted in as America's President. If you don't like it thats just sad for you.

Nope. Not over the top of my head. My sarcasm went right over the top of yours though.
