So, who will run in the POTUS primaries in 2016?
So who do you predict will run for POTUS primaries in 2016? This is not about who you think should run, but rather your prediction of who will run.
Possibilities being discussed so far:
Republican: - Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell
- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie
- Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker
- Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal
Democrat: - Vice President Joe Biden
- Secretary of State Hillary Clinton

Biden will be a good pick to continue the Obama legacy.

Christie did a great job of positioning himself after hurricane Sandy. When he hugged Obama the Republicans went nuts, partially blaming him for Romneys loss. Christies probably relieved Romney lost, it meant he would be able to run in 2016.

Dems already have their boy penciled in.
Clinton will be 72 and way too old to get elected as will Biden at 77.
Look for MD governor O'Mally to be groomed to win the office. He has the looks and polls well with people of color. Thus far he has little or no baggage.
As for the repubs, Christie is the only person with the national exposure at the moment, but they too could groom someone. Christie would have to have weight loss surgery ASAP to have any chance. This is America and looks have a lot to do with being elected.
With all of that said, this will be a volatile 4 years. And the economy will dictate it all. DC is basically still grid locked and there is a general feeling that once the war spending is done, things will get better. They seriously think that toeing the party line is how to proceed. So we very well could have a new group of players in 4 years. This cycles bag of retreads was surely disappointing.

Hilary Clinton will be 69, same age as was Ronald Reagan when he became president.

What does it matter? According to all the pundits we're a one-party nation now anyway. (something that Ron Paul has been saying for years).
We should just do what China does, convene a closed door assembly every ten years, shut down the internet, radio and TV, and then after a few days just announce who our near dear leaders will be.
By 2016 Obama will still be..what? - 55? He could easily rule for another decade or more. Why would we want to replace "The One?"
It could be like selecting a Pope. Every 10 years they'd burn some white smoke and the world would know that the baton has been passed. I figure by 2020 or so one of the Dear Leader's kids should be able to take the reigns. Why risk giving power to any one else?
Can't you just imagine Obama's face in the picture below?

That isn't too much of a stretch beyond the halo pics the media already has used with Obama.

I think one party rule will be great. No more campaign ads. No more endless debates in congress. Fascism...now there's a policy all libs can learn to embrace.

I think LA Governor Bobby Jindal and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will run in the primaries. Quite possibly NJ Governor Christie.

It's called being a sore loser. I expect a lot more of this in many different threads.

well, i'm a sore loser too. but it doesn't seem to me that name calling, b1tchin' and offering outlandish solutions is going to do much to further a serious desire/attempt to promote a legitimate conservative agenda.
but then again, what do i know.....

It's not all that outlandish. With 90+% of msm protecting a party, candidate or agenda that they deam the right course , our country has lost the critical private sector check on govt power running wild. David Goebbels Axlerod and the rest of the wunderkind have the media dancing on strings.
