You got that right. I'm sending CBS a letter tomorrow.

That's wonderful. Obama's recession hasn't ended.

Another good book is "All In: The education of GEN Petraeus".

And in a fascinating twist about books on this thread....
...it appears that the 4-star General's own biographer may in fact be part of this debacle
Quote:
CIA Director David Petraeus announced his resignation Friday, admitting to an extramarital affair, which Fox News has learned was with his biographer, Paula Broadwell, and was revealed over the course of an FBI investigation...
The FBI had been investigating an unrelated and much broader case before stumbling on the affair. Fox News has learned that during the course of this investigation, the name of biographer Paula Broadwell came up. The FBI followed that lead and in doing so, uncovered his affair with her. The FBI for some time was concerned that perhaps Petraeus was some sort of victim, but there has been no evidence discovered to back up such concerns.
Broadwell co-wrote Petraeus' biography, "All In."

It appears that the General's role in this was in fact merely a side effect of a larger investigation into his secondary squeeze.
Stay tuned...this is going to get ugly...even in France.

I guess Move On.org was partially right...it just wasn't the "us" part.

C'mon Casey, you can set anyone in the chair, but getting them to plead anything but the 5th is something else. We have seen that one work. Thank GOD for the American Constitution and the 5th Amendment. In the wind.

This is exactly what pop means. Watch how Lil Wayne does it. This is a taped deposition. It's not a joke.

Yes he could plead the Fifth, but he could always plead the Fifth, whether he's CIA director or not. Again -- the resignation has absolutely no effect on Congress's ability to have him "sit in the chair," as Pops puts it. It's just another Right Wing conspiracy born out of ignorance

I agree 100 percent.
It is kind of funny that Lil Wayne passed Elvis Presley as the male with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with 109 songs as of September 27, 2012.

The general is not the first and won't be the last to suffer consequences for thinking with the little head. Lots of us have been there and done that.

As far as being subpoenaed, that puts him in the seat in front of the mike, but, what can they make himself say? If they tack some highly classified tag on certain info can Congress make him talk. Would those posing the questions have the same level of security clearance as the head of the CIA?
