I hope
tomorrow morning the Republican Party wakes up and does two things:
Ends its war on women.
Steps away from its very small lunatic fringe base.
Maybe then it can address what it needs to address, small government and economic sanity.

Please explain how you would expect this to happen when ANY reduction in govt spending is greeted with calls of racism, war on women, and other such nonsense You're delusional. How does re-electing this jerk lead in ANY way towards any of those goals? It doesn't. Face it, the takers now seem to outnumber the creators and the trend will continue that way, whether or not Obama wins. The ONLY way a Republican is considered reasonable is when they give in to the Democratic party.

That's what I'm afraid of, your type of paranoid thinking.
I voted for Romney.
All I'm saying is it might be time to consider not continuing doing things the same way and expecting different results. My observation from your never ending rants is that this is not a concept you would understand.

I hope...
that the people who put this adminstration back in office are willing to admit they did it and accept responsibility for it when the ramifications of this vote come back and bite them on their collective a$$es.
From this point "Forward"... it's all Obama's fault.
And if by some miracle granted to US by the grace of God we prosper over the next four years, I'll be stunned but willing to admit I was wrong.

18 months, and 2 billion dollars in campaign spending, and the government looks almost exactly like it did yesterday. America is divided 49-49, and so is the government.
Next up: fiscal cliff and an increase in the federal debt limit

Well, the good news is, I don't have to do anything with my investments.
Had Romney won, I would've had to rethink my investment strategy and reposition things.

Its what they should be thinking about, Lefty, but alas that thought will be flatly rejected here in rightwingnut land.
Just what were you thinking???

Market tumbles and the dollar falls at the open (thats market speak for no confidence) The US debt continues to increase at an alarming rate. The country has just re-elected a man who's looking to tax more so the govt can spend more than the workers can produce. We borrow from our enemies to make up the difference and even they scratch their heads in disbelief.
I agree with Lefty... it's lunacy to continue with the same failed ideas and expect different results. But, here we are.
