After Romney wins the election
What can I expect after Romney wins the election? I'm a middle class union garbage truck mechanic. Are things going to get better for me? If so, narrow it down, I want specifics. I'll update you if you are correct.
Since I am a union worker is it a huge mistake for me to vote for Romney?

Are you looking to be convinced on how to vote, or setting up a rebuttal for if Romney does win?
I am a manager at a company that supplies building materials to contractors, ask me how my life has gotten better since Obama took office, or how our company structure has changed in fear of Obamacare.

How could they? You're already overpaid and underworked.

My Dear James,
I am in a management position that came from starting off cleaning toilets, loading customers and unloading freight (job description has not changed only been added to). While you may not care about me, please know that in a non union controlled business management works side by side with those not in management and cares deeply about their welfare, you see private industry does not have the luxury of extorting businesses and their employees as Unions do and we must balance reasonable treatment, dignity and respect while maintaining a profit. I have every confidence that should your sweet cocoon of a union go through a rocky patch, you as well spoken individual will find a way to survive in an industry that demands you to be competitive, not just make demands.
Sincerely,
Irish

So I should expect things to get worse for me and I should vote for this?

In the long run I believe you will be less pleased with a socialist regime. I am sure you will adapt fine to positive upswing that is for the greater good.

Let us test this theory of yours. How much do I earn per hour and what does my workday consist of? Describe it to me and let's see if you are accurate. I promise if you nail it I will admit to it.

You are right James, it is wrong of me to assume that because the majority of unions are fraught with corruption, useless over head (you may refer to them as managers) and people over paid for their qualifications that includes you. Some unions are honest and weak and their members are compensated on a more realistic payscale. So I apologize for assuming you were in the vast majority of union members.
If you wanted to give me a general geographic idea as to your location and job title, I can run some payscale reports and take a good stab what your job entails and how you are being compensated. Although since you already know this may be an exercise in futility.

I was expecting a better fight.
But seriously I want to see opinions on who is the best candidate for me and why. I'm the middle class worker.

You're asking the wrong question. You are focused on money.
Try this: Do I want to be free to pursue my happiness in a free capital economy OR live in a socialist state where, since I don't stand a chance in hell of being part of the elite class (haves)
, my only option is to be part of the lower class (have nots)

Middle classers should take a lesson from what Socialists do with the upper class. Once the upper class is out of money, the Middle class will be bled dry next. Can't you see that? In the end, there is only the government and the poor.

I visualize an overall improvement in our economy with Romney as president. It would probably take a couple of years to see significant improvement but I think it’s possible for his policies to improve over Obama’s. With more citizens working, the unions and the workers they represent should see their income improve. The improving economy alone would likely be enough secure a second term for Romney.
The down side would not be as apparent. If Romney wins I believe we can expect continued funding on so called “defense” which is really an effort to impose our will on nations that haven’t asked for it. We can expect continued erosion of our civil liberties, especially when they can sell it in the name of our “safety.” We can expect a continuation of unchecked government spending and policies by the Federal Reserve that devalue our dollar and threaten our national security.
I have other expectations but this a peek. We will probably feel better about our situation overall but reality may not be evident.

Non Union wages are based on Union wages, never forget that, the less they make, you will make less also.
