Contrary to common sense, and contrary to the memos that were bouncing around within hours of the attack, it must be true that the video story was fact. In the12-14 days the video story bounced around, surely there was some brass somewhere, ,,joint chiefs, military intel, etc, somewhere that knew the video story was spin designed to support the al queida. defeated and on the run narrative, and THEY DO NOT SUPPORT SPUN STORIES , it would be fibbing , and apparently that just doesn't happen

Watching the start of the Pats and St. Louis game and there were Marines there (in London). How does the obama administration and Joint Chief of Staff justify military at a football game but deny requests for military support at a hot site??

I don't know if it will be rioting, though I don't consider it an impossibility, especially if it's as close as it's looking like it's gonna be. I do expect some kind of funny business from OB

Virginia Rep. Jim Moran's office has another statement about his son's arrest for assaulting his girlfriend in Columbia Heights earlier this month. And it turns out it was all an accident, according to Moran, despite his son's guilty plea to assault.

"The situation was an accident," Moran spokeswoman Anne Hughes writes in an email, adding that both Moran and his girlfriend testified to that in court. "Patrick didn't hit or shove her."

Hughes claims that only Patrick Moran and his girlfriend were around to see the alleged attack. "They were the only two people who witnessed the scene," writes Hughes. "In that sense, their statements are the only ones that matter."

That would contradict the police report, which describes both a Metropolitan Police Department sergeant and an Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration investigator seeing Moran slam his girlfriend's head into a trash can cage outside the Getaway, a 14th Street NW bar.

"They are both very embarrassed by the situation, which involved drinking," Hughes continues. "And they are looking to move past it, and ask for their privacy to be respected."
