Is the Obamatron love affair coming to end?
Are we finally seeing cracks in the Obamatron love affair?
Could it be that the mindless love-affair with the obmatrons and the Obamessiah is finally coming to an end?
Today's USA Today:
"The mountain of debt easily could become the next full-fledged economic crisis without firm action from Washington, economists of all stripes warn.
"Unless we demonstrate a strong commitment to fiscal sustainability in the longer term, we will have neither financial stability nor healthy economic growth," Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke recently told Congress.
Higher taxes, or reduced federal benefits and services — or a combination of both — may be the inevitable consequences.
The debt is complicating efforts by President Obama and Congress to cope with the worst recession in decades as stimulus and bailout spending combine with lower tax revenues to widen the gap.
General Powell last week:
"So, I think the president, as he moves forward with his initiatives has to start really taking a very, very hard look at what the cost of all this is," he said.
"And, how much additional bureaucracy and will it be effective bureaucracy be needed to make all of this happen?"
Powell hesitated to say he was "worried" about Obama's busy agenda, but he conceded he's "concerned."
"I'm concerned at the number of programs that are being presented, the bills associated with these programs and the additional government that will be needed to execute them," he said.
Seems even the media is becoming embarassed by the abuses of power in this adminstration. This weekend the Washington Times had to withdraw it's published offer to health care lobbyists for a personal off the record dinner with Obama Adminstration personell for the low low price of only a quarter million dollars. And who can forget the reaction of the Washington Press corp when the missing Beegee's Gibbs brother Robert was fried over the faked "town hall meeting" that day:

It's not too late to turn this country away from the road to Marxisim, Statism, and Fascisim, maybe America is starting to wake up?

Give him time for what Ed?
To spend another 3-trillion dollars only to have the economy sink to another record low?
Put my health care records under the jurisdiction of the DMV?
Put a tax on my electric bill, my water bill, and add another cap tax on every single thing I buy?
Take away my property rights and give the fruit of my labor to someone who has never taken the inititative in their lives to contribute anything to society?
Support dicators around the world?
Tell me Ed, how much more time does he need before he turns this nation in Venezuela?

Give him some time? Obama has took a bad situation and turned it into a catastrophe. I hate to think what he will do with some time.

Let us see. Since the inauguration
I'd be there have been no less than six threads regarding how Obama is no longer favored by Americans. So I'd simply say by next month DJW will have to start another.

I don't know one single person who likes the job Obama is doing but his Poll numbers are still pretty good. Somebody is lying.

I don't 'see that.
He walked into a catastrophe and is having a ruff time of it, as anyone would. He's taking some steps and he's taking them quickly - but these ain't the kind of problems that go away quickly.
He's getting our guys out of Iraq and he's taking steps to get this Afganny thing over. He's loading up the troops and pushing the offensive, rather than let it dwindle on forever. Lots more I see but I ain't gonna sit here and itemize each thing. You guys see the news and read the papers. Why do you skip past the positive stuff????

Positive stuff, there isn't much of that. I guess it gets lost in all the bs he's trying to feed this country. I agree he is having a ruff time of it. If he thinks we can keep spending our way out of this mess, it is going to get alot rougher.

LOL Not really pro Obama. More so am Pro "look at things realistically".
I did not vote for him. But I am seeing some of the positive he has accomplished.
I hate to see foks getting hammered for things they can not control.
I do admit to a lil bias when it comes to the war part. My nephew is on his 2nd tour in Afganistan. About 6 months ago he became part of the first wave of the new reinforcements that went way deep into the badlands. His fith year as a soldier. I'd love to see this stuff end and see him finish his career in the peaceful mode.

My guess is, I don't really need to answer that. I think you know exactly what I mean.
