5-speed in a rigid 4-speed frame

Hey, does anyone know how to get a 5-speed into an old Santee 4-speed frame ? I've got both a 4-spd and 5-spd mount plates. do I need to drill some holes into the 5-spd plate to mount it or what ?

Need more information. What are you running for a primary? What do you have for transmissions, ie 5 speed softail, 5 speed conversion, 4 speed ratchet or cow patty?? Are you using and electric start or just kick? What year are the transmission types, ie clutch cable and arm or cable and ball ramps or hydraulic?

Have you got or can you get any pictures of all this stuff to see what you are dealing with?

Also the Help and feedback section of the forum is for forum related help and feedback not for technical help. I moved this to the pre evo forum.
