Cool Non revvin' RevTech

Got a friend with a 96" RevTech stuffed into a FatBoy. I know this is PreEvo Forum BUT is there any versatile V-Twinner good ol' boys out there? He's got a BRAND NEW RevTech that wont fire the front cylinder. New coil, New Wiring Harness, Plugs & Wires are new...Valves are adjusted to specs. He was able to put 12 miles on it the first day of completion (Last Saturday) and the thing was Balls to the Wall. Then it started running on one cylinder. He even tried the ol' stock coil & that was a BIG FAT NUTHIN'...now he's stuck like chuck. Any suggestions out there? Thanks in advance.

Did you remove the spark plug and see if it was firing? That is the first thing we would want to know.

Is it a single or dual fire ignition (ANTK) Also needed to know.

Well, if it's brand new, call Rev Tech. They offer a 12 month unlimited mile warranty.

The Motor was purchased on eBay from a Private Party. It is a 2002 but was still NEW in the crate. So, the RevTech warranty is LONG Null & Void.
It is, in fact, a Dual Fire Ignition...
...As far as the spark plugs go, they both fire when removed BUT the front cylinder spark is weak & intermittent, with both the new coil & the stock coil. Then we switched the plug wires around at the coil just to see if the weak spark was now at the rear cylinder...and its not. It still has a weak intermittent spark in the front cylinder. What the F%@# is wrong?

You have eliminated the pugs, the coil, and the spark plug wires.
The only thing left is the wiring to the coils and the ignition module.
Check the wires to the coils for any worn insulation that could be breaking down and swap out the ignition module if you have a spare.
