Cycle Shack

Any experience with Cycle Shack muffler pipes? Considering these to replace the open drag pipes on my 82 FXRS. Looking for input on loudness and sound. Thanks. http://www.cycle-shack.com/cycle/ago...PHD-122T&xm=on

I had them on my 03 Heritage Classic. they sounded great but too loud for my sensitive ears. everyone that heard them liked them though. check out pipe pics thread and you'll see a few a pic of them there.
here's another.

I changed that bike to a set of screaming eagle torque slip ons which I liked. I don't own the bike any longer but the buyer wound up being a friend and changed to rush slip ons. like I said though, everyone liked the cycle shack muffler pipes I had, but me. As I mentioned I have sensitive ears and they bothered me. I now have a street glide with stock pipes.

Okay, so I can figure the CS are louder than the SEs. I had Rush 1.75s on my 04 Electra Glide. Have kept the 09 EG stock thus far and will probably stay that way forever. Too much noise gives me ringing in the ears but the FXRS is more of a 'bar hopper' and choices are very limited. Preciate the input.

yes the cycle shacks are known for being a loud pipe and they are louder than any of the screaming eagle pipes.

I have Cycle shacks on my 82 FXR and don't find them that loud.

They may be louder that some others, but boy do they perform.
Always a home run when used with a build, or a stock bike.

I put CS turnout slip-ons on my 1200 Sporty. They had a great sound, but were very loud. I also think I got some increase in performance out of them, but I never dynoed the bike, so I can't be sure. Thumbs up.
