I have a '49 hydra-glide and was wondreing if anyone has installed the quickstart 2000. I am thinking about installing one on my bike,and would like to know if you liked or disliked it. Ease of installation. If you had any problems, and anything else you can tell me about it,if I decide to put one on my pan. Thanks

Personally I would never do it.At least with points,you will never be stranded.All my years of riding points breaker ignitions,always carried spare ignitions parts,never had to use them.Every so often could tell the points were closing up,a quick adjustment and back to normal.Good Luck
