1966 Iron Head
need help tuning a morse magneto on a 1966 iron head,install guide,spec sheet,anything would help alot thanks.:

so your breaker gap is 0.015". what are are you looking for info on?

Like already said .015-.019 gap
keep your kicker shaft straight if you bend it and you will! replace as soon as possible !!

I think what Store is looking for is how to install it...it's been a while but ...find TDC front cylinder, a verticle mark should show in the timing window on the left side, that's where you want your points breaking,

after I tore my ross cartlage in my right knee!!
I would push start it first start of the day. Then after that it would kick start fine! Of course it was easier to push back then! ahhh memories!!
YEA top dead center,timing mark in window points just starting to break. I cant remember but I think ya want your advance all the way retarded. that way you can advance a little after running.

umm he might not know about the plug between the jugs on the left side -its a hole to see timing marks on wheels-isnt there a slash and a double dot ? one for front cyl one for back -i dont know if all years had both -maybe set it while mag is retarded too -just thinking -

True ,but most out there have them locked down ,not many left with the advance anymore !

Pay no attention to anything on the flywheel other than the vertical slot and expose the push rods of the front cylinder to confirm TDC

YEA JUST MAKE SURE ya see the mark at tdc on front cly.
funny thing I am setting here reading about tuning with my new daytona twin scan II and going back to watch the forum. 40 year walk threw time!! LOVE IT MAN !!
