Police seat on 2008 Road King Classic

Hi everyone!

I have bought a police seat for my Road King Classic 2008 but, unfortunatly, the seller give me a pre2008 seat kit.

What is the parts that i need in order to put the seat on my bike?

Just the plastic cover or other?

The bladder, seat and the air thank I think are ok.

Any suggestion?

thank you!

I put the police seat on my 05 and you pretty much got it covered. Not sure what the difference would be between the 08 and 05. The 05 has the two holes to mount the bladder on, by the battery. You can also get a fiberglass cover instead of the plastic, think I got it on ebay, just google it......I put the air canister in the side panel, just laid it in there..

the only thing that may be different is the bracket at the front end of the seat. I know that the difference in seats from 07 to 08 is the way they attach in the front. If the bracket you got for the front of the seat will bolt on, you should be ok.

The bracket fits, but the big plastic cover doesn't fit.

And what about the T bracket attached at the seat?

what is in the way of the plastic piece?

also, I was talking about the bracket at the front of the seat. The back of the seat rests on the rod that comes out of the top of the air shock.
