I have restored several old Harleys, and am currently working on a 1994 Police FXRP. Is it legal to install a speaker-siren that is totally disconnected (no wiring, no amp)?
I would check with someone there in Virginia as the laws very from state to state. Here in Colorado there would be no problem with you having the siren even hooked up as long as you didn't use it on a public road or attempt to impersonate a police officer.
