Bub 7

I have an 06 Electra Glide Police. It is Black and White.
I was thinking of putting BUB 7 Black Ceramic pipes on (complete from the headers).
does anyone have these on theirs or have any comment about the BUB's in general

My tuner tried them out on several bikes and he was raving about the good preformance gains. He even tried them on my bike and the torque curve foolowed my Fatcat (so I kept the Fatcat). Don't know about the black one, but the Chrome version was very well built. The Y at the collector seemed less restrictive than some, and the swirl inside the baffle (like a gun barrel) looked quite impressive. Too things stopped me from getting them (already having the Fatcat). 1) they did not have a longer version for my softail (wanted to clear the bag like my Fatcat). 2) there wasn't enough gain over my Fatcat (but it did run right with it).

I like the Bub 7 (I hope you were speaking of the 2 into 1,...... I was).

On the fence about the 2 into one or true duals. My wife put 2 into 1 Reinharts on her 08 street glide and loves it. She is short and kept burning her leg withthe original pipes.
I know Reinhart and BUB is the same company did'n't know if there was a big differance.

The Bub 7, 2 into 1 is way above the regular Rinehart 2 into 1.
Not even close in comparison. (Can you tell that I was impressed with what I saw?) LOL

Need to decide how much priority you have in power gain. The 2 into 1 (obviously) will be better power wise, but I have seen true duals get tuned to do pretty well too. Just not quite as well.

I'd like to add that if you did happen to sway towards a fatcat, I saw one last weekend on a bagger, that had the dummy pipe on the left side. Looked fantastic. Goes all the way up to the (non existant) "Y" at the rear cylinder. Don't even look like a 2 into 1 when the dummy pipe is on there.

I've had the Bub Jug huggers on a previous bike and now have Rineharts. The Bub/Rinehart exhausts have excellent build quality and sound. They are pricey, but worth every penny. You get what you pay for.
