Any good places in Southeast to buy police bikes?

Been looking for a used police bike, do these get turned back in to the dealer or does the police dept sell them outright?
Only have been able to find 2 locally here in Charlotte.

We turn ours back into the dealer when they're a year old as they're leased. One of our officer's bought a 2007 bike we'd just turned in. Unfortunately for you, I'm in Colorado.

I bought a used Electra-Glide that was used as an escort bike. No blemishes or mechanical problems. The bike was a year old with less than 8,000 miles.

Excellent service from dealer. Unfortunately, I don't live close enough to use them on a regular basis.

The dealer in my home town of Athens, GA, Cycle World of Athens, has several on hand. Never dealt with the dealer on motorcycle purchase, but have not had a negative experience with anything else at the store.

Both dealers have excellent websites.

Back in May I bought a 2006 FLHTPI from Classic Iron in Dumfries Virginia. Good people and prices.
They get them wholesale from various locales. Mine originally came from the City of Sanford Florida...

I bought mine from ebay. 2007 RK, formerly Seminole County Sheriff dept bike. Apparantly they contract with a third party to auction off their old bikes. Much better deal than the Orlando bikes, mine had 24000 miles and I got it for 8K. In very good condition, new clutch and brakes.
