I think you're asking for problems doing that. Bike tires and cars tires are built totally different. Car tires are not designed to run on the side like a bike tire is. Car tires are a much harder compound than bike tires. I have a friend that put a car tire on the back of his Honda Interstate (stripped down Goldwing). I rode it
once. It handled terrible. You had to really lean to get the bike to turn. He's risking the back end coming out from under him in a turn if he doesn't have optimal traction.
I know it's tempting to put a car tire on. But is it worth risking you and your bike?
