It sure is. My bike started to make a sweaking noise in the primary so I took the cover off to look, found the chain was loose so I tightened to speck, it helped the sqeak a bit but didn't stop it so now I figure I will take the whole thing out and have someone look at it to see if the parts are to blame and go from there. If I have to I will bring it to a mechanic as a last resort. I really prefer to fix my own stuff whenever possible.
