Wiring Diagram

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 2008 FLHP? I want to wire my Zumo into the siren switch and hope to figure out which wires to splice. Thanks

Sorry I only have the wiring diagrams for my 2002 WG unless the wiring is similar.

Zumo hookup

I recently hooked my Zumo up...thru the headlight. There are 2 spade connectors inside the bezel that made the hookup a breeze. Then you can run the wire out thru the bezel and up thru near the handle bar mounts.( follow some of the other wires)
Start by Just taking out the headlight and search for the 'HDI" spade connector and its counter part. ( I found out that HDI stands for HD international" and these connetors are here for bikes that go overseas.... interesting.)
The HDI spade connector will have a red cap on it and be taped over with black tape. All I did was clip spade connectors onto the ends of the Zumo wire and plugged them in. It was amazingly easy.

I had to do this because I hooked up a garage door opener to operate with the YELP switch and the siren switch controls another flashing led light.. I made the swithces work by connecitng wires on the end of the siren amp plug ...the big square 18 pin plug found under the seat. This saved alot of time and eliminated running seperate wires,,,,
,go to FLHPI.com for details.

Got the Police service manual for 2007, with the wiring diags. Think that will be close enough for you?

I'm not sure if it will work or not. I know Harley changed some of the wiring for 2008. If you could either scan a copy for me or read it and tell me which wires in the switch harness run from the siren, that would be a great help. Thanks.

It might be next week before I get back to do that, but will sooner if possible.

Cool Wiring

I've got a 2008 Police service supplement that has the diagrams in it.
The wires from the siren on/off switch and the siren section of the horn/siren switch go to the siren amplifier(removed before sale on my flhtp)
The wires to the siren speaker (2 pin deutsch at the neck right hand side) also go to the amplifier. There is also power and ground going to the amp.
You would have to locate the wires and install a relay.

Did that take care of what you needed, or do you still want a copy of the 07 wiring diagram?
