How Much Air?

How much air should I start with in my solo police seat?
The service mgr. at the stealership says he runs 90 psi in his, and would not recommend anything less, "or you'll destroy your air spring".
What are you folks running?
I'm 6 foot tall, and weigh 225 on a good day.
Thanks for the info
Ride safe

Put just enough air in it to keep it from bottoming out when you hit a bump.

I'm a few pounds lighter than you and I run 20 lbs. in mine.

90lbs? wow, i'm thinking thats more than the systems rated for. would have to check.

i'm 200lbs and found that running 30psi is very comfortable *but* when i hit the throttle it felt like i was gonna slide off the back. Now up to 40psi and that seems better. On long hauls, I'll go back to 30. bought the HD pump and it's nice/easy to use and carry

I weigh 245 lbs and run mine at 50 for a solid ride that will still absorb bumps. If you run too low the air spring will rub or pinch a hole on the back.
