Random photos

I think I'll just start throwing random photos in here when they don't really have a theme or I'm funning around with different settings. Feel free to post your own in here. If it gets any traction, I'll ask the mods to either sticky this or create a "Photo of the Day" thread to post uncategorized stuff into.

Couldn't find anything I really wanted to take photos of and shooting a 135mm fixed near traffic isn't probably the best idea when your feet are the zoom so I ended up with a few shots at this old service station. Since they were a bit dry, I played around with them in Lightroom because.....well, because.

I'm making this a sticky but everyone please limit your file sizes to 1024X680 or smaller. I get complaints from people saying the photos are bigger than their screen and they have to scroll over them to see the entire photo.

The reason for this section of the forum isn't to only post photos it's to teach and learn so please add some information to the postings such as camera type, lens used, tripod, processing etc.

Your experience level doesn't matter we can all learn/teach somebody something. Hopefully inspire someone to get better bike and ride photos.

Nikon 50mm f/1.4 manual lens @ f/2.8
1/1600 shutter

These old 50mm lenses are cheap and a great value.
This one is beat bad and hardly has any original finish on it
but it works and it works good.

I'd love to find an older f/1.4 but have yet to come across anything larger than my 1.7. Love this pic Tom.
