Wanted Stock alloy wheels

1999 TC FLHTC. I have the spoke wheels and would like to change to the stock alloy wheels. Getting tired of inner tubes, and not being able to plug a tire on the side of the road.

Got lucky the other day when I took a nail in the rear tire , and ended up with only a 2 hour walk home to pick up the trailer.

From what I understand, they have to be the tapered bearing type.

Thanks

Dumb question, but have you thought about having your spoked wheels sealed so that you can run tubeless?

No, I sure haven't. I didn't know that could be done. Do they use an epoxy or something?

Would be interested for sure.

Thanks

If that's possible it would be the first time I've heard of it.

Getting a mag front wheel for my Train is on my 'to do' list too.

Have you been keeping an eye on ebay?

With a name like "Bald Tire" you're bound a to get a few flats though.

It does seem like something difficult to do. Balancing issues, leakage issues, etc...

I am keeping an eye on ebay. I would accept just about any condition as long as they were straight and not dinged up. Would plan on bead blasting and powdercoating them anyway.
