What are some good rides around Bend OR

I'm going to heading up in the Bend Direction around may and was wondering if there were some loops that I have to do. Also because it is late spring will there be any issues with snow and roads that will still be closed?

Route 46 south from Bend if it is open is great. There are a lot of scenic roads across the Cascades but it is all a question of what will be open when. How late in spring will you be traveling? The opening dates of those roads in past years are probably on the Internet somewhere. It depends on how much snowfall it gets during the winter. The more snow the later the opening.

I checked out your clip on the Owyhee Dam. My buddies and I will be doing a ride to from California to Glacier this summer. It is likely we will be stopping at the Owyhee Dam as a result of your youtube clip on the place.

I'm stoked to hear that you found the video useful in your travel planning. I live around 50 miles from the lake and it is one of my favorite places by far to ride to. The whole project was birthed on that ride and video, I shot the whole thing with my iphone. I'm working on getting better equipment this winter.

I have other rides here in Idaho planned, as I mentioned I am going to head up to the Bend area and shoot an episode there and if I can swing it would like to feature Street Vibrations.

I see that you are in the Frisco area, I grew up in Salinas and plan on shooting a few HWY 1 episodes.
