Post How much does your lady ride?

As perverted as the title may sound this is not a sexual topic

What I'm asking is, how much does your lady like to ride? Is she a once in a while type, or every time you start it girl? My wife loves to ride, hell she tells me "lets go," before I can start the thing lol. We get alot of looks from "cagers" when we stop somewhere geared up, and she thinks it's irritating. She doesn't dress slutty, usually T-shirt and jeans, but she feels like they think she's some kinda BIKER WH*RE. So does your woman ride and if so how much, and does she get the stares too?

My girlfriend is on the bike every time I crank it up to go somewhere... Yepper, she gets stares too, (blonde, size 4, good hooters), but she does not care what they think..

Well it's not so much that she cares what they think, as much as it just gets old them staring the whole time we're on it. She has never cared what people thought of her, she's not that type.

ZERO...I wish she would ride with me sometimes but I'm not going to push her into something she isn't comfortable with. Years ago she fell riding a dirt bike (she use'ta ride) got hurt and never got back on...We're over 50 and I don't see me changing her ways...

My wife came to riding later in life. She rides her own and likes to ride as much as anybody I have ever known of either gender. If it isn't a 300 mile day or more, she is not happy. I don't think either of us has noticed any more than the usual looking/staring that Harleys have always generated.

It's human nature for people to look at things that are DIFFERENT. If I see a girl wearing something I like, I'll look, just as if I see a girl wearing something she shouldn't, I'll look.

It's too bad your wife gets irritated that people are looking, and it detracts from her enjoying the ride, but some people just don't like attention of any kind.

Since she's not dressed "slutty", they're more than likely looking because they're interested in the bike and you two on it - a GOOD kind of looking, not a BAD kind of looking.

If she could she'd be on it everytime I fired it up. She just had back surgery so she can't ride until Spring next year. She hates it when I ride without her....

My wife is with me 90% of the time. We enjoy each others company. We have been married for 45 years. The other 10% I am with one of my Sons.

My wife is with me at least 80% of the time. I ride to work everyday so thats the other 20%. She could care less what others think. We vacation every year on the bike too. She loves to ride as much as I do. Thank God.

Well the wife has had a change of heart lol... She and I went for a ride bout an hour ago, and we stopped by the park here in Oxford to sit by the lake and enjoy the evening, we were both in t-shirt, blue jeans and our leather jackets. A woman who was wanting to go exercise around the walking track seemed to be scared to get out of her car because we were there lol, my wife thought that was hilarious, and now she laughs at the "cagers" when they stare. Thanks for helping her to see how foolish they look fellas!

I seems that my wife likes her space, she seems to be happy when I am out riding. She has not got back on a bike since 1975, a left turn in front of us and i made a good save. i scared her immensely.
I have been down a few times in the dirt, a few assorted broken bone. on the street i had a couple and nothing broken. i started riding with a 20 year break, and I have been hit 2x in 4 years. i still love to ride, but pick when and where. i do NOT like to ride the freeways of socal, sometimes it is nessesary to get somewhere, but i like the secondary roads. 60-70 is all i really want to ride anymore and I do not get crazy in the twisties.

i do like quick acceleration, but only on good roads that are not very crowded. When i see some of these crotch rockets driving way past their braking or their skill, i just wince. i was there at one time, but 70mph through hairpin turns when you have no idea what is on the other side, is just crazy. i think we loose a couple over the side every week here in the socal mountains. I have seen some of these future Darwin Award recipients doing 70 mph wheelies, some with, what appear to be. 15-17 YO GFs on the back.

I guess that i am just getting old.
