Vote Early - Vote Often
I'll be sitting at the polls all day as a "paid-volunteer" for the small upstate NY county I live in.
All day people with better things to do, will take the time to be part of the greatest show on earth, the peaceful transition of power from one party to the other that makes America a truly amazing place.
Remember that your vote may not mean much in your state for who is President, or maybe even your State Senator, but it's the local elections that matter. School boards, Congressmen, state legislators, town justice. That's where you make a difference in your life and the life of your family.
Take part: join the circus today and be a part of the greatest show on earth!

In some ways I wish I had that option, but on the other hand it kind of makes me feel left out come election day when everyone else is voting and I can't... again. Well, not entirely true. Depending on who and where you are you might get to vote 15 or 20 times.

I had my landscaper go down and vote for me. I'm too lazy to go out this early in the morning.

Did my civic duty on the way in to work. In & out of the "booth" by 0630. No chad. No levers. Sharpie marker & a card & instructions to try to color within the lines.

Here's on reason why we need voter ID.
The voter registration system is a disaster. Voter rolls are seldom purged of inaccurate information.
I moved from MD to PA going on three years ago. I did not sell my MD home. When I changed my drivers license, I also registered to vote. My wife did not. She had a long unpleasant grand jury experience and didn't want her name in the jury pool. The jury pool comes from the voter registration.
I have voted in PA every election since, she has opted not to vote.
This time she actually has a preference, one that differs from mine. To end the argument I stated that she couldn't vote, so her opinion carried no weight. Being what she is, she called MD to see if she was still registered to vote there. After explaining her situation, she is! Sort of. And with no ID requirement, she can. And as a property owner the vote can be counted as long as she only votes there, or perhaps not. Her vote would be counted, but could be disqualified later. Not that it would mater in the Democratic Socialist Republic of Maryland. No one can question her status till after the election.
Being curious, I called and checked my status. I'm still on the rolls in MD. Again not that it would mater, I could cast two ballots. What if it was not MD? But another state like Ohio? There a few votes could make a difference.
The way it stands now, anyone could walk into our MD polling place and cast our votes based on the inaccurate voter information. All that is required is that your name be on the ledger for that polling location. What are the chances that someone working the poll would notice? Very slim.

yeah, yeah, we know, Osama bin Laden and Muammar Gaddafi are dead. They both registered to vote in Chicago.
Split your vote from Prez to everyone else. Gridlock is our only hope.

It is predicted that Obama will take an early lead Tuesday, but that lead will fall once all the Romney voters get off work and get to go vote...

You have to take into account the heavy voting turnout once that latest Springer and Maury episodes are over......and after they eat their Grilled Gov't Cheese sammiches.

Oregon is a "Voter fraud by mail" state, we have no polling places, just drop off sights and election office's.
The state police have said they will be monitoring the state election offices for irregularity's.
