And the person giving the care is wearing sandals as well. Open-toed shoes in a clinical setting?

Wearing Crocs would bring a different perspective to, "keep the rubber side down", wouldn't it?

Never could get it myself. See it all the time around here in the summer. I never wear sandals doing anything because I know as soon as I do, something unwanted is going to attack my feet. Just the way my luck runs. But anyone that's ridden motorcycles for any length of time I'm sure has had things hit their feet and even with boots it can hurt like hell. No telling what kind of damage some of the crap I've had hit me would have done with sandals.

I seem to have the same brand of luck you do. If I'm working or riding, toes covered all the time.

Feet, head and hands protected at all times. Would never wear shorts, sandals or sneakers when riding. I never even wear shorts as I never know when I might be taking the bike out for a ride or to run an errand.

Every once in a while this topic comes up. We all know the answer. There is no one who is going to protect you like yourself. If your willing to ride the wire expect to be cut by the blade.
Here is one that comes to mind not to long ago .... http://www.v-twinforum.com/forums/v-...ng-shorts.html
Wonder where epic is these days ... Check out Cowlicks last performance ... http://www.v-twinforum.com/forums/v-...ng-shorts.html
