My Fireman Friend and Neighbor says the real reason they cancelled the NYC Marathon was because bodies were washing ashore not too far from where starting line would've been.

I spent the day in The Rockaways restoring service to those affected by the Hurricane;I can honestly say they are some of the nicest people i have ever met in my 24 years of service working for my company.
