OK guys,, I've had it. 99 is a bastard year, tanks are not as easy as I figured to find. At this point anyone want to shot my stock white tank? I'm looking for plain old glossy Harley black...nothing special. Let me know how much you want. My HOA would **** if they saw me wheeling a compressor in the house...

John;
Since your in Fredericksburg, why not give Josh at Illusions a call. They paint tins all the time. I took my Bushtec trailer there to have it two tone color matched to my Ultra and had it pin striped too. Total cost was $500.00 and that included the paint, and filling in the bolt holes I had filled in after removing the ugly luggage rack.

The issue it the way HD mounted the pump & filter in the tank... In the pic you can see the internal hardlines, plus the way the pump mounts. The pump sits on an hard line as its feed. Switching to the new style setup... Will mine is a 2 wire (1 in the tank and one to the dash plate) the newer style is a 3 wire...I might just rattle can it untill I have time...I can do pretty good with a spary can... I might just say F-it,setup my compressor and shot the set..

Refer to my most common comment about riding: We're burnin' daylight...it's easy for me to suggest a rattle can job when I just had my tins painted...but the wait and not being able to ride drove me nuts!!!
