Jun 22, Sun, Maryland American Bike Fest

OK all of you on the "Wrong Side" MIR at Buds Creek is holding it's 2008 American Bike Fest V-Twins and Metrics. Last year it was a pretty good event and this year it looks much bigger. So for all you from the Wrong Side in VA and all from the Right side, I'm trying to get a ride together. Also for all the DOOFS Ohio and PA way this would be a great get together. Plan on meeting at the "Old Country Kitchen in Waldorf next to Best Buy between 0730 and 0800 for breakfast and plan on leaving there at 0900. Gates open at 1000. Would like to get there in line so I can set up my canopy and do some minor tuning before the test and tune session. I'm going to haul my bike down with tools and such so if anyone wants to bring things they can't carry contact me a head of time. Since Greg will also be going plan on rain. The new paint on his bike is a rain magnet, Tornado magnet, and general bad weather attraction! I'm not going to elaborate but it has been verified more than once! Also remember if it says rain at 1300 don't let Greg talk you into staying until 1301!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jerry. I've riden with Greg since he put the new paint on and it didn't rain. It was a little cloudy and windy, but we stayed dry.

Now, as far as MIR, sorry but have to pass. Patti and I won't be home from ES and training in Texas by then.

I have to go to CA for family stuff for that weekend. I begged my sister not to plan it in June.....ES and MIR...she didn't listen.

Between the kids, the OL, the new house, the old place (someone wanna buy a Mobile home in NoVA?), and the J.O.B....

...I don't have a life...

...sorry, Jerry, maybe some other weekend we'all can get together and ride...

I thought Jerry's original post said it was on Jun 22nd ???

Anyway, we're on our way to Arkansas
Bikes working great even pulling the trailer up 6% grades between 75-80 with temps never over 250. Average around 230-240 on the long hills, but drops back under 230 on the level.

I'm goin. Dragging the whole rig. Truck, toy hauler, bike & laptops. So now I can offer air conditioning, refrigerator & microwave. If we can get close enough 6-7 seats on the roof to watch the drags....BUt wait there's more!!......................................

could you throw a dyno in the back of that thing too? (it would be more practical than a kitchen sink....)
